In my own personal news, most of you know I started working at the hospital, here in our little town, last July. I was feeling lonely because I was always in my home working at my graphic design business so I thought I'd get a little part time job for some companionship. Well, what started as a two or three days a week turned into full time and I've been very busy there. It's hard to find the time to create, but somehow I do.
Recently, a photographer came around and took photos of people doing their work and I was one of those chosen for a photograph. A few days ago I went to work and there, hanging on the walls, were some huge posters of those photos. It's really strange to walk past a poster of yourself! Here's mine. I deliver meals to patient rooms.
I really love the job. I had no idea just how much I would! Most of our patients are elderly and some are lonely and need a friend to talk to. I enjoy giving them some time and holding their hand or helping them with anything they need. It's rewarding to have a job where I'm helping people!
